Georgia L. Kubla

Georgia L. (Knox) Kubla, 84, of East Deer Twp., passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Saxony Health Center. She was born June 13, 1933 in Frazer Twp., to the late Walter J. and Anna M. (Beck) Knox. Georgia lived most of her life in Frazer Twp. and since 1998 in Creighton. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum. Georgia enjoyed traveling, sewing of all kinds, knitting, crocheting and needle point.

            Survivors include her sons, Thomas J. (Jan) Kubla, Pinehurst, NC and Daniel T. (Susan) Kubla, Frazer Twp.; granddaughter Katie Kubla and a sister Marlene (Donald) Pomaybo, Natrona Heights. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother James Knox in 1934, sister Juanita Carr and companion Joseph A. Pomaybo.

            Visitation 3-6 PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 AM in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum with Rev.
