Gina H. Bitterice

Gina H. (Jeaugeon) Bitterice, 96,  of New Kensington, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia, Cabot. She was born July 21, 1924 in Chaumont, France to the late Gabriel and Marie Louise Jeaugeon.  Gina met her husband John while he was serving in the US Army. They were married in France and Gina moved to the United States in 1945 to join her husband John.

Gina was a homemaker and also was owner operator of Gina’s Beauty Salon in New Kensington. She was a member of St. George Orthodox Church in New Kensington. Gina enjoyed all sports but she especially loved her family, grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

            Survivors include her daughter Marie H. (Gary) Duster, of Allegheny Township; her grandchildren Michele M. Isanhart, of Penn Hills, Nicole A. (Chad) Gentile, of Fawn Township and Gary A. (Bethany) Duster, of Wake Forest, NC. Also surviving are her great grandchildren Gina M. Isanhart (Travis Arndt), of Penn Hills, Alyssa R. and Mia J. Isanhart, of Penn Hills, Gia G. Gentile, of Fawn Twp. and Gage Alan Duster, of Wake Forest, NC.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John M. Bitterice who passed away December 11, 2004; brothers Pierre and John Jeaugeon and 4 sisters Fernand, Helene, Robert and Maddy.

            The family would like to thank the staff at Harmar Village and Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia, for their professional and compassionate care that they provided for Gina.

            Private family visitation was held in Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. All are welcome to attend a funeral service Saturday at 10 AM in St. George Orthodox Church, Leishman Ave, New Kensington. Private family interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park , Lower Burrell.
