Glen A. Fiedler, Sr., 83, formerly of Dubois and currently of Fawn Twp, passed away at home Saturday, December 09, 2017. He was born May 19, 1934 in Elyria, OH to the late Emil J. and Minnie (Roberts) Fiedler. He has lived the past 16 years in Fawn Twp. and prior to that 30 years in Dubois. Glen was a veteran of both the US Navy and Army. He was a Furnace Tender at Brockway Pressed Metals for a number of years. Glen was of the Baptist faith and loved gardening and flowers.
Survivors include his wife 56 years and 11 months, Joan E. (McMahon) Fiedler; children Joni (Jacques) Wagner, New Kensington, G. Allen (Robin) Fielder Jr., Indiana, PA ; granddaughter Cathy (Jason) Hladney, New Kensington and 2 great granddaughters Madelyn and Julianne Hladney; Sister Muriel Fiedler, FL. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation, Monday from 2PM until the time of service at 4 PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Pastor Ben Oesterling, of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Prospect, PA officiating . Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery, Dubois, PA. Contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Prospect, PA. VISIT: dusterfh.com
