Glenda Martin

Glenda Martin, 68, of Tarentum, passed away Tuesday August 2, 2022 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot after being ill the past several years. She was born October 3, 1953 in Tamaqua, PA to the late Nobel and Marie (DeCroo) Kleckner and lived most of her life in Tarentum. Glenda was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed the casinos, day trips with her companion Pat Schmeider before his passing and especially enjoyed her family.

            Survivors include her children Lisa (Brian) McGrath, of Tarentum and Kevin (Katie) Martin, of North Huntingdon; grandchildren Dylan McGrath, Cody and Chloe Martin and three step grandchildren Devin, Greg and Cristian. Also surviving are her siblings Raymond (Karen) Kleckner, of Lower Burrell and Marsha (Paul) Kondrick, of Cheswick and cousin/caregiver Debbie Bzdziak, of Brackenridge. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her long-time companion Pat Schmeider and a sister Ginger MacLellan.
