Glenn Rowan

Glenn Rowan, 70, of Lower Burrell, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at UPMC Passavant. He was born January 1, 1956 in Natrona Heights, a son of the late Howard J. and Helen L. (Taylor) Rowan. He lived the past 10 years in Lower Burrell and formerly lived in Brackenridge. Glenn was a Steel worker for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation, Brackenridge and retired after 32 years of service. He graduated in 1974 from Highlands High School and a member of the American Legion Post 226 in Brackenridge. He enjoyed watching the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. Glenn especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Luann (DiGiacobbe) Rowan; daughter Nicole (John) Sparks, of Brackenridge and grandchildren Brody, Chayse and Paizley. Also surviving are his siblings, Marcelene (Dr. Tony) Wilcox, of Boca Raton, FL and Teri (Rick) DeMichele, of New Kensington; numerous nieces and nephews and his fur babies Snickers, Frankie and Pebbles. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Richie Rowan.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 6-8 PM in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Burial will be private. VISIT: dusterfuneralhomeinc.com
