Grace Ann Crighton

Grace Ann (Gillespie) Crighton, 79, of Clinton Township, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at Sugar Creek Rest Home, Sugar Creek Twp. She was born October 28, 1938 in Harrison Township to the late Raymond B. and Dorothy R. (Donnell) Gillespie. Grace has lived in Clinton Twp. since 1970 and prior to that Bettendorf, Iowa. She was a Biology Teacher for Knoch High School, Saxonburg retiring in 1997. Grace was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Brackenridge and Pennsylvania State Education Association. She graduated from East Deer Frazer High School in 1956 and earned a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University in 1960. Grace enjoyed photography, gardening and was an avid Penn State football fan.

          Survivors include her son Scott A. Crighton, Clinton Twp. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Violet Galey.
