Gwen A. Lynam, 90, of Tarentum, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Harmar Village Care Center. She was born March 12, 1930 in New Kensington to the late John and Rose (Moses) Roffol. Gwen lived most of her life in Brackenridge and Tarentum. She was an LPN at St. Margaret’s Hospital, Belair and also did private duty nursing. Gwen graduated from Ken High school and enjoyed cards, the casino and her pet dogs and cats.
Survivors include her sons Edward J. (Kimberly A.) Lynam, of Lower Burrell and Patrick J. (Lorrie) Lynam of New Kensington; grandchildren Lauren E. (Timothy) Orr, Jr., of Leechburg, Amanda (Scott) Piroch, of New Kensington and Shayla Lynam, of Butler. Also surviving are 4 great grandchildren and a sister Lois (Gerald) Miller, of New Kensington. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John R. Lynam, son Timothy J. Lynam, grandson Luke E. Lynam and two brothers Eugene and Allen Roffol.
