H. Marie Heinrichs

H. Marie Heinrichs, 101, formerly of Brackenridge, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 just six days shy of her 102nd birthday, at Vincentian Home in McCandless. She was born February 15, 1923 in West Mifflin to the late Raymond W. and Pauline R. (Gross) Richards. Marie lived most of her life in Creighton and Brackenridge. She was a secretary for State Farm Insurance in Penn Hills for many years. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Natrona Heights and current member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights. Marie was very active in church affairs, was a member of the choir and her deep catholic faith was very important to her. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

 Survivors include her sons, Dr. Douglas W. (Diane Marshall) Heinrichs, of Ellicott City, MD and Stephen K. (Tracy Tominac) Heinrichs, of O’Hara Twp; grandchildren Victoria (Travis Horrom) Marshall, of Sykesville, MD, Derek (Tanya) Heinrichs, of West Deer Twp., Jessica (Joseph) Iglesias, of NYC, NY, Kelly Heinrichs and fiancé Daniel Acevedo, of Pittsburgh and 5 great grandchildren Shaw, Lyra, Austin, Colton and Ella. Also surviving are her sisters Veronica Richards, of Elizabeth Twp. and Agnes Chronowski, of White Oak. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Nestor G. Heinrichs in 1985, grandson Marshall Heinrichs in 2006 and a sister Marcella Schmidt.
