Dale was a member of the United States Air National Guard and since 1972 operated a grain farm in Norfolk. He was active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and the Eagles.
On June 11, 2009 Dale married the love of his life ,Mary Louise (Thimons), and she became a farmer’s wife.
Dale is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Remmich, son Adam (Amber) Remmich; step-children Tarrah (Shawn) Jackson and Zachary Czarnowski; Grandchildren Austin, Annie, Victoria, John Paul “Jack” and Jerzey and Great-Grandchildren Sophia and Daemon. Siblings Shirley (Leeland) Bucknell of Charles City, Iowa, Kathy (Larry) Higert of Gem, Kansas, Rick (Kathy) Remmich of Sioux City Falls, South Dakota Anthony Remmich of Norfolk, Nebraska, Mother- in- law Louise Thimons, In-Laws Robert (Tracy) Thimons, Daniel (Cindy) Thimons, Angela (Robert) Mauro, Ruth (Stanley) Zicklin, Vincent Thimons, James (Carla) Thimons and David (Renee) Thimons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Elnora; Father-in-law Robert Thimons, Sr.; and brother-in-law Victor Thimons.
Services for Dale will be held at the Brockhaus Funeral Home in Norfolk Saturday June, 25 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm.
Military Honors will be provided by Veterans of Foreign War Post 16, Offutt Air Base Honor Guard and American Legion Riders. Burial at a later date at Vida Cemetery in Vida, Montana. VISIT:dusterfh.com
