Harold R. "Hap" Huet

Harold R. “Hap” Huet, Jr., 74, of Tarentum, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at VA Hospital, Oakland. He was born January 15, 1944 in Harrison Township to the late Harold R. and Josephine (Strellec) Huet, Sr. Harold grew up in and graduated from Tarentum High School in 1961. He was a bricklayer for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp., Brackenridge for 18 years and a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army. Harold spent 15 years in Myrtle Beach, SC and returned to Tarentum 4 years ago. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.

          Survivors include his wife of 22 years Lolene “Rusty” (Altman) Huet; son Rene (Bryanna) Huet and grandchildren Anna and Ella Huet, all of Natrona Heights. Also surviving is a sister Elizabeth “Betsy” (Richard) Tressler, State College. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Mark.

          There will be a gathering of family and friends 1-3 PM Friday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Burial will be private. VISIT: dusterfh.com
