Harry T. Leyland

            Harry T. Leyland, 68, of Buffalo Twp., passed away at home Friday, May 18, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born July 16, 1949 in New Kensington to the late Frederick and Josephine (Bieranoski) Leyland. Harry lived most of his life in Buffalo Township. He worked at Barking and Renton Coal Mine and also was a Project Manager for a Construction company. A veteran of the US Air Force from 1969-73 and of the Catholic faith. Harry graduated from Kiski Area High School and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

            Survivors include his daughter Gail R. Leyland, Ford City; grandchildren Caleb and Christian Leyland, Buffalo Twp. and Marcellus and Marian Duncan, Ford City. Also surviving are his brothers Kenneth (Joan) Leyland and Walter (Maxine) Leyland, both of Allegheny Township and 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Frederick T. Leyland.
