Irma E. Kus

Irma E. Kus, 100, formerly of Tarentum, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 at Quality Life Services, Apollo, PA. She was born July 24, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland. Irma lived most of her life in Tarentum where she was a homemaker. She was of the Lutheran faith and a graduate of Eastern High School, Baltimore, MD. Irma enjoyed bingo, and ran the bingo for Dalton’s Edge in Tarentum, and enjoyed coloring and puzzles.

Survivors include her sons Louis J. (Elaine) Kus, of Lower Burrell, Michael C. Kus, of Baltimore, MD and Richard J. Kus (Kathryn Liberatore), of New Kensington. Also surviving are a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a sister Mildred Applegate, of Baltimore, MD. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John C. Kus in 1984, son Mark Kus, and daughters Jo Ann Petit and Marsha Pazul.
