Jack Irvine, 95, of Tarentum, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born January 3, 1926 in Culmerville to the late Samuel and Katherine Irvine. Jack lived most of his life in Tarentum and was a WWII veteran serving in the US Army. Jack was in Sales and Service for Olando and Brofy for 10 years and also owned Highland Pool in Tarentum and worked at the former Stockdale Hardware in Tarentum. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Tarentum and enjoyed country music and big bands.
Survivors include his children, Catherine J. Irvine and Deborah (Larry D..) Wampler, both of Natrona Heights, Barbara (Juan) Carrasco, of Melbourne, FL and Kenneth Irvine, of Tarentum. Also surviving are his grandchildren Anthony and Ronda Sabatini and great grandchildren Avery and Nathan Sabatini and Taylor and Hannah Wright. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Helen (Bucinski) Irvine in 2000, daughters Jacqueline Lynn Sabatini in 2021 and Janet Burton in 2017.
Visitation Wednesday from 2 PM until the time of service at 6 PM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Rev. Philip A. Beck, officiating. Burial will be in Bull Creek Cemetery, West Deer Twp. with military honors. VISIT: dusterfh.com
