James J. Adamik, 77, of Fawn Twp., passed away at home, Monday January 10, 2022. He was born October 22, 1944 in Harrison Township to the late Joseph P. and Clara K. (Obringer) Adamik. James lived most of his life in Fawn Township and was of the Christian faith. He was a Stationary Engineer for Oxford Development, UPARC Harmar Township for 50 years. James was a veteran of the US Navy and a graduate of Tarentum High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and his camp at Wattersville. James especially enjoyed his family, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Joan C. (Lincoln) Adamik; his children Shane J. (Susan) Adamik and Clay J. (Adrienne) Adamik, of Fawn Twp. and Misty F. Adamik, of Freeport; grandchildren Zachary J. Adamik, Grayson P. Adamik, Lillie Adamik and Arya Valenti. Also surviving is a brother Thomas (Debbie) Adamik, of Fawn Twp.
A private family visitation will be held in Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. VISIT: dusterfh.com
