Jane Danish

Jane (Bachman) Danish, 94, of Fawn Township, passed away at her home Sunday, December 27, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born March 28, 1926 in Brackenridge to the late Clarence G. and Nellie M. (Dupain) Bachman. Jane grew up in Brackenridge but lived most of her life in Fawn Township. She married her late husband Fred Danish February 14, 1949. A graduate of Tarentum High School and Maison Frederick Beauty Academy in Greensburg. She owned and operated Jane’s Beauty Salon in Brackenridge during the 1950’s. She worked at Sun Drug during the 70’s and was a Democratic committee woman in Fawn Twp. for many years. Jane was a member of Center United Methodist Church in Fawn Twp. and United Christian Women’s Society. She was a founding member of Fawn Twp. Water Authority. Jane enjoyed dancing, traveling, playing cards and being a homemaker. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren and family. The family is very grateful for the care and friendship from Jean Eckman, who helped care for Jane the past year.  Her kindness and compassion will always be remembered. 

            Survivors include her sons Kevin F. Danish, of Memphis, TN and Robert S. (Jackie) Danish, of Upper Burrell Twp., 3 grandchildren Bernadette M. (Joshua) Brusoe, of Manassas, VA, Matthew R. Danish and Nathan J. Danish, both of Upper Burrell Twp. Also surviving are her siblings, Audrey Chlasta, of Cabot and Lawrence Bachman, of Freeport. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Fred Danish, sister Marie Beeghly and brother Richard Bachman.

            A private family viewing was held in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Services were conducted in Center United Methodist Church, Fawn Twp, with Rev. C. Drew Myers, officiating. Entombment was private in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jane's name to Center United Methodist Church, 1575 Donnellville Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065. VISIT: dusterfh.com
