Janet L. Jones

Janet L. Jones, 69, of Flinton, PA passed away at home on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. She was born December 19, 1951 in New Kensington to the late Paul and Bertha “Dolly” (Gilmore) Hrivnak. Janet lived in Tarentum, Decatur, ILL, Altoona and most recently in Flinton. She was a RN Aide for various nursing homes and of the Methodist faith. Janet graduated from Burrell High School in 1969 and enjoyed needle point.

            Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Allen D, Jones; daughter Terri Orona, of Bellwood, PA; grandchildren Morgan Uzmack, Alexis, Abi and Peter Orona. Also surviving is a brother Dennis P. (Mary Anne) Hrivnak, of Vandergrift and sister Susan (Joseph) Kunc, of Creighton and several step brothers and sisters. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son Brent A. Jones, step mother Helen (Blake) Hrivnak and infant sister Paula Lou Hrivnak.
