Natrona Heights

Janice Yossa, 76, of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 22, 1949, in Natrona Heights, PA, where she lived most of her life.

Janice had the most giving heart and would always help anyone in need, often putting others before herself. She was stubborn and feisty in the best way, with a spirited personality that made her unforgettable. Her quick wit and sense of humor brought laughter to those around her and could brighten even the hardest days. When asked, “What’s new?” she would jokingly reply, “Oh… New York, New Hampshire…,” a line that became a cherished family memory. Her family was the center of her world, and she loved them fiercely.

She loved crocheting and creating beautiful needlepoint pieces with plastic canvas, talents that reflected her patience, creativity, and care. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family, which brought her the greatest joy.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Bolt; Brian Bolt and his loving partner, Missy; Katrina (Shane) Foster; and Sarah Yossa. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Nicholas Bolt, Amy and Lexi Mystkowski, and a cherished great-grandmother to Lillian Bolt. She is also survived by her siblings, Gary Finley, Dianne (Jeff) Mackowski and Bruce Finley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lois V. Finley and James R. Finley; her stepmother, Martha “Marty” Finley; and her aunt and uncle, Helene and Charlie Furer.

Janice will be remembered for her generosity, strength, humor, and the deep love she had for her family. Her kindness and willingness to help others left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Private family services will be held to honor her life and memory. Arrangements by Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. VISIT: dusterfuneralhomeinc.com
