Jean C. Corsi

Jean C. “Jeannie” Corsi, 78, formerly of Tarentum and Fawn Twp, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024. Jeannie was known for her creativity, artistic abilities, entrepreneurial spirt, and relentless work ethic. 

She was born January 20, 1946 in Harrison Twp. a daughter of the late Fred M. & Louise (Rivi) Corsi. Jeannie grew up with a passion for beauty and fashion. This passion led her to open Corsi Beauty Salon & Boutique, where she combined her love of hairstyling, and selling beautiful art and décor. Jeannie built a welcoming space where clients felt like family, and her talent and dedication earned her a loyal following. She also was an instructor for the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology. Beyond her professional success, Jeannie was an excellent cook and baker, avid gardener and talented crafter.

She is survived by her siblings, Rosemary Lubatti, Fred (Linda) Corsi, and Barbara Corsi. Nephews; Fred (Julie) Corsi, Greg (Kristen) Corsi, Nieces; Kim (Mike) Connors, Danielle (April) Tomer, Lauren (Brad) Simmons, and Leslie (Chad) Brouse as well as many great nephews and nieces.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Patricia L. Corsi in 2023, and brother in laws Art Sutton, and Gino Lubatti. Jeannie will be dearly missed but always remembered for her generous heart and love for entertaining.
