Jean M. Terrill, 89, of Irvine, Warren County, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Sept. 15, 1931, in Natrona Heights, where she lived most of her life. She and her husband moved to Warren County in 2000. A graduate of Har-Brack High School, she worked many years at Allegheny Valley Hospital as a secretary to the administrator. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, crossword puzzles, crafts, flower gardening, cooking and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Terrill was a member of St. Joseph Church, Warren, and Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Survivors include her husband, James R. Terrill, whom she married, in 1952; two sons, David W. (Jean) Terrill Sr., of Tarentum, and Neil P. (Jacqueline) Terrill, of West Pittsburgh; daughter, Lisa Ann Sims, of Gila Bend, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Raymond S. (Patricia) Ameel, of Natrona Heights. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert A. and Stella I. Ameel; son, James Loren Terrill; great-grandson, Jacob Terrill; and a brother, Edward A. Ameel. A private family viewing was held in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 347 E. Tenth Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526. A funeral Mass was conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021, in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights.
