John L Marine

John L. Marine,75 of Lower Burrell passed away Friday,Sept 22, 2017 at his home after a 6 month illness.He was born March 10, 1942 in New Kensington a son of the late John and Ella (Kilpatrick) Marine. John lived most of his life in Leechburg,but spent the past 21 yrs in Lower Burrell. He was a government contractor, general laborer  for Curtis Wright in Harmar Twp. for a number of yrs retiring in 2007. John was a graduate of Leeghburg High School,a veteran of the USMC serving in Vietnam,and was of the Baptist faith.He especially enjoyed working on automobiles. His survivors include his wife of 33 yrs,Cathy J. (Drane) Marine,his children,Sonya Lynn Marine ,New Kensington, Lisa Ann Marine,Nebraska,John Louis Marine,Leechburg , Michael Dwayne Marine,New Kensington, Tammy Rae Howard,Virginia,and 7 Grandchildren,and 1 Great Grand daughter, his Sister Dorothy McCorkle,Pgh.Also surviving his nephew Henry McCorkle,and a number of other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tues,Sept 26 from 2 PM until the time of the service at 6 PM in the Duster Funeral Home,Inc. 347 East 10th Avenue,Tarentum,Pa.15084 (724) 224-1526 with Rev.
