John F. Wesoloski Sr., 85, of Natrona Heights, formerly of Tarentum, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Quality Life of Sarver. He was born October 21, 1938 in Harrison Twp, a son of the late Theodore and Mary (Arvay) Wesoloski. John lived in Natrona heights since 2010, and prior to that Tarentum. He was a Crane Repairman for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp. in Brackenridge for 25 years, retiring in 2001. John was a former member of Holy Martyrs Church and a current member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights.
He graduated from Har Brack High School in 1957, playing for their baseball team from 1954 to 1956, becoming the 1956 WPIAL champions. John also played in the 1949 Little League World Series in Williamsport. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, cooking and baking, but most of all his family.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years Beverly A. (Aloi) Wesoloski, his children John F. (Charlene) Wesoloski Jr. of Williston, ND; Phyllis M. (Michael) Stanoski of Lower Burrell; Michael T. Wesoloski and Mandy Kemp, of Natrona Heights, and Eric L. Wesoloski and Jennifer Davis of Castle Hayne, NC; his grandchildren Jake Wesoloski of Grand Forks, ND, Dr. Leah (Brandon) Hoffman of Williston, ND, Lyndsay (Adam) Lattus of Natrona Heights, Kaitlyn (Michael) Zukowski of Lower Burrell, Madison and Noah Wesoloski of Allentown; Great-grandchildren Waylon, Walker, and Waren Hoffman, Luke and Logan Lattus, and Christian Zukowski; Nephews Thomas and David Wesoloski. John was preceded in death by his parents and brother Thomas Wesoloski.
There was a private family visitation, however all family and friends are invited to attend a Christian funeral mass on Thurs. April 25th, 2024 at 12 noon in Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Entombment will be in Our Lady of Hope Mausoleum, Frazer Twp.
