Jonathan P. Klaes, 58, of Brackenridge, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh following a brief illness. He was born September 20, 1962 in Harrison Township to the late Merle P. Sr. and Winifred (Mohney) Klaes. Jonathan lived his entire life in Brackenridge and was of the Methodist faith. He was a machinist for Bayer Corp., formerly Medrad in Indianola and a 1980 graduate of Highlands High School. Jonathan was a wrestling fan and enjoyed going to the casinos. He especially enjoyed his family, siblings, nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his siblings with whom he made his home, Darlene L. Klaes, Deborah B. Klaes and Merle P. Klaes, Jr. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews Robert (Diane) Klaes, Jacqueline (Robert) Young and Rachel Klaes and fiancé Nick Rickard; and great nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Landon, Joseph and Mason. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother David Klaes.
Visitation Monday from 9 am until the time of service at 11 AM in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
