Joseph Artkowsky

Joseph   Artkowsky,  74  of Tarentum passed  away, Sunday, Jan 23^rd at the Grove of Irwin, Senior Housing  following a 2-month illness. He was born Sept 16,1947 , a son of the  late  Joseph B. and Vincentia (Valasek)  Artkowsky.

Joseph  lived his entire life in Tarentum ,and was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Holy  Martyrs  Church, Tarentum. A Tarentum High School Graduate of 1965 Joseph also attended  California  State College for several yrs.

He was an avid sports  fan who enjoyed gardening, and crafts, but he especially enjoyed basketball, and  baseball. Joseph is survived by 2 sisters, Carol J. Craig, West Deer Twp, Kathleen  Stettmier, , and a brother, David  Artkowsky, and Kathy  Taylor of Tarentum. Also surviving are 4 Nieces, and 2 Nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 6-8 PM in the Duster Funeral Home,Inc. 347 East 10^th Avenue,Tarentum,Pa15084 724-224-1526.  A Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Hope cemetery, Frazer Twp. visit:dusterfh.com
