Joseph H. "Joe" Collins

Joseph "Joe" H. Collins, 91, of Woodstock, Va., formerly of Lower Burrell, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20 2022, at his home, with wife Ellen and daughter Susan by his side. A Christian funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church Lower Burrell, where he was a member for 42 years, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023, followed by graveside burial and military honors at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township. Joseph was born Oct. 9, 1931, in Tarentum. He is survived by wife, Ellen; daughters, Susan Collins (Tom), Darlene Gross (Michael) and Jeri Rowland (Kip); brother, Kenneth Collins (Christeen); grandsons, Richard and Robert Iozzi, Casey and Shawn Rowland and George and Dan Gross; granddaughter, Leann Moyer; niece, Sharon Arabia; and nephews, David and Clayton Collins.
