Joveca Verena Leonard-Lewis

Joveca V. Leonard - Lewis, 41 of Pittsburgh, died on April 13, 2026. She was born on March 23, 1985, in Miami Beach FL, the daughter of the late Joe Louis Leonard, III. and Viveca R. Jones.

Joveca graduated from Meadville Area Senior High School in 1997; as she called it “The country boon docks.” She attended dental school and became a certified Dental Assistant, and worked with many Dentists throughout the Pittsburgh area. Her greatest joy was traveling, she started a travel agency known as “Black Pearl Odysseys.”

She is preceded in death by her Great Grandmother Pauline N. Wilson; her Father Joe L. Leonard, III. Her Mother-in-law Gloria M. Patterson Lewis; Aunt Regenia A. Jones and her sibling Myson J. Leonard. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband James Lewis, II. her children Jabari, Jeremiah and Jayden Lewis; 2 Stepchildren, Jamiere and Jaylice Lewis; her siblings Reginald Jones, Terrell E. Leonard and Cameron X. Taylor, Grandmother Verna M. Stinson; her Nephew Khai Taylor, Niece Alora Taylor; and a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation 10 AM - 12 PM Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526.
