Joyce A. Michael

              Joyce A. Michael, 85, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at Hearthside Nursing & Rehab Center, State College, PA, after a short illness. She was born January 26, 1932 in Penn Hills, PA, daughter of the late Thomas and Amanda C. (Dutturaine) McClellan and was a 1950 graduate of Springdale High School. She was a long time resident of Wayne, PA. and a former member of Wayne Methodist Church.  Joyce was an Office Coordinator for AT&T in Wayne, PA, retiring in 1992.  Joyce enjoyed sports and reading.             Survivors include her son Robert A. (Mary) Michael, III, Bryn Mawr, PA and a sister Lois Shamey, Gibsonia. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son Judson “Judd” Michael; Brother James McClellan, Sisters Alma McMonagle, June Shook, Dorothy McClellan, Elizabeth Mowen and Jean Friesel.             Services and burial in Verona Cemetery, Verona, PA were private.
