Karen Evans

Karen   Evans , 63  of  Brackenridge passed  away Friday, May  27,2022  at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights following  a lengthy 8 year illness.

She was born  June  18,  1958 in Harrison Twp, a daughter of the late  Frank R. and Ann C. (Elosvai)  Di Luigi.  Karen lived  her entire life in Brackenridge  , where she was a homemaker, and also worked  for a time at Applebee’s  restaurant, and  Walmart.

Karen  was a member  of Guardian Angels  Parish, Holy  Martyrs  Church, Tarentum. She was a 1976  graduate  of Highlands  High School, and  enjoyed  baking,and playing  bingo, but  she especially  enjoyed  spending  time with her  family.

Her  survivors include  a daughter, Danielle S. (Shawn)  McConnell ,Delaware, Ohio,  Son  John  Paul  Evans,  Brackenridge  , grandson Cameron K.  McConnell, Delaware, Ohio  and a sister  Patricia  (Mark)   Waldroup, Cabot.

Besides  her  parents  she  was  preceded  in death by  her  Husband,  Dennis  K.  Evans  in 2014, and a  sister  Suzanne  Di Luigi.

Visitation  will be Monday, from  3:00 PM  to  7:00 PM  in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347  East 10^th Avenue, Tarentum  724-224-1526  where a Blessing  Service  will be  conducted  Tuesday at  10 AM . Interment  will  follow in Mt. Airy  Cemetery, Natrona Heights. Vistit:dusterfh.com.
