Karen K. Treshok, 68, of Buffalo Twp., passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 4, 1954 in Pittsburgh to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Feryan) Kost. Karen lived in Cheswick and Buffalo Township since 1994. She was a homemaker and also worked for 11 years at ALCOA Technical Center. Karen was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church, Cabot and was on the Banquet Prize Committee of Trout Unlimited Arrowhead Chapter #214, Ford City. She was a 1972 graduate of Springdale High School and attended Penn State University. Karen always put her family first. She was a seamstress, enjoyed baking, was an incredible cook, especially enjoyed making Thanksgiving dinners. She played the piano, guitar and organ. She previously sang in the church choir at Our Lady of Victory Church, Harwick.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Anthony G. “Tony” Treshok; daughter Cassandra L. Treshok (Joshua Lebovitz), of Glenshaw and Jarred A. (Nicole) Treshok, of Cranberry Township. Also surviving is her brother Dennis (Cynthia) Kost, of Lower Burrell and her beloved dog Abby.
Visitation 2-6 PM Thursday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, Cabot. Burial will be private in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to Trout Unlimited, Arrowhead Chapter #214 . VISIT: dusterfh.com
