Karla M. Langer

            Karla M. Langer, 47, of Brackenridge, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, May 19, 2023. She was born July 3, 1975 in Harrison Township to the late Howard H. and Nancy C. (Kelly) Lambert, Jr. Karla lived the past 12 years in Brackenridge and prior to that Creighton. She was the activities director at Platinum Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Brackenridge. Karla was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights and a 1993 graduate of Highlands High School. She enjoyed her “wine” nights with her friends and spending time with her family. Karla especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. Karla was proud to be an adopted mother to all of her son Austin’s friends.

            Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Shawn D. Langer; son Austin M. Langer, of Brackenridge. Siblings, Kelly Lambert, of Arnold, Kerry (Gregg) Palmer, of Brackenridge and Howard H. Lambert, III, of Natrona Heights. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Odie. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her aunt, Sundee Kelly.
