L. Patricia "Patty" Zewe

L. Patricia “Patty” Zewe, 94, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday, September 12, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born June 3, 1929 in Tarentum to the late Charles S. and Leona A. (McNally) McPhilimy. Patricia has lived the past 51 years in Natrona  Heights. She was a homemaker and mother to seven children and many grand and great and great great grandchildren. Patricia also worked outside the home. She was of the Catholic faith and member of Natrona Heights VFW Auxiliary 894 and the Burtner House in Natrona Heights. Patricia loved cooking, baking, gardening, and the holidays, especially Christmas. She especially loved spending time with her family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Richard J. Zewe, of Pittsburgh, Robert W. (Beverly) Zewe, of Johnstown, David C. Zewe, of Bellefonte, Michelle L. Zewe, of Creighton, Alicia A. Miller, of Tarentum, Christopher J. (Diane) Zewe, of Tarentum and Michael J. Zewe, of Natrona Heights; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Shirley DuBac, of Tarentum and Judith McPhilimy, of Natrona Heights.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by husband William A. Zewe, 3-17-09 and grandson Addam Roe in 2022.

 Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where a blessing service will be held Friday at 10 AM with Rev. John B. Lendvai, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. VISIT: DusterFH.com
