Larry J. Woods, 64, of Lower Burrell, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born December 28, 1956 in Harrison Township to the late George A. Woods Sr. and Roberta (Seminko) Woods. Larry lived the past 20 years in Lower Burrell and prior to that New Kensington. He was a private contractor and also worked for Conrail for a number of years. Larry was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, member of Lower Burrell Moose and attended Highlands High School. Larry was known as Luscious Larry and noted for his bib jeans. He enjoyed golf, collecting various items, talking politics and Fox News. He especially enjoyed his pet cats Jackson and Sugar. The family would like to give a special thank you to the EMT’s and Lower Burrell Fire Company #3.
Survivors include the love of his life of 20 years, Nina (Trulik) Kocon; his son Ty woods, of New Kensington and 5 grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings, Sandy Woods, Cheryl Seddiki, Debbie Sesnowich, Steve Woods, Linda Pater and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother George Woods, Jr. and sister June Woods.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Larry’s life on Sunday, October 10 at 3PM at the Lower Burrell Moose, 499 Reimer St., New Kensington, PA 15068.
