Larry W. Wyble, 73 yrs old, of Natrona Heights formerly of Penn Hills, PA passed away on Sunday August 16, 2026. He was born on October 15, 1952 in Natrona Heights to the late Paul A. Wyble Sr. and the late Marian E. Rosborough Wyble McGarrity.
Though Larry was nonverbal and faced the challenges of a severe intellectual disability, his voice was loudly heard through his bright spirit. He communicated not with words but through the warmth of his smile, the expression in his eyes, his famous "fist bumps" and the gentle ways he connected with those who loved and cared for him. He reminded us daily that the deepest bonds are felt and not spoken.
Larry found immense happiness in life's simple pleasures. He loved watching his cowboy western movies, listening to country music, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers football games, people watching, sitting outdoors and loved food with a great fondness for a good cheeseburger. He possessed a beautiful, quiet strength and a soul completely untouched by the complexities of the world.
He is survived by his brothers Paul A. Wyble Jr. of Natrona Heights, PA, Harry Wyble of New Kensington, PA and his sister Sandra Charity of El Paso, Texas. Also survived by his nieces, Dawn Wyble of Gibsonia, PA, Holly Lovejoy of Pittsburgh, PA, Kellie Charity of El Paso, Texas, Letanya Charity of El Paso, Texas and Deanna Wyble of Oklahoma, his nephews Paul A. Wyble III of Lower Burrell, PA and Richard Wyble of Harmar Township, PA. Larry is also survived by numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his nephew Harold James "Jim" McHenry and numerous aunts and uncles. Special thanks to his caregivers throughout his years including his great niece, Angelea Matthews and the therapy staff at Kadima Rehabilitation Center in Cheswick.
A prayer service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Mt. Airy Mausoleum Chapel, Natrona Heights.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Larry Wyble can be made to Disability Rights of Pennsylvania.
