Laura J. Kowalski

           Laura J. Kowalski, 88, of Brackenridge, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Bel-Air Health & Rehabilitation Center, Lower Burrell. She was born March 15, 1935 to the late Charles W. and Mary E. (Laughlin) Collings, Sr. Laura lived most of her life in Brackenridge where she was a homemaker and member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights. Laura loved to spend hours building puzzles with her grandson Connor. She was an avid NASCAR racing fan and Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan.

            Survivors include her children, Mary (Jack) Murray, ,and grandson Connor Murray, all of Brackenridge. Son Walter J. Kowalski, of Brackenridge who provided care to his mother prior to moving to Bel-Air. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Kowalski in 1989, brothers Daniel and Charles Collings and sister Mary “Sis” Burtner.
