Lawrence D. "Larry" Bachman

Lawrence D. “Larry” Bachman, 93, formerly of Buffalo Township, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at Concordia at Franklin Park. He was born February 1, 1928 in Brackenridge to the late Clarence and Nellie (Dupain) Bachman. Lawrence lived most of his life in Buffalo Twp. and was of the Methodist faith. Lawrence was an Engineer Assistant for Allegheny Ludlum Research. He was a WWII veteran serving in the US Navy and a graduate of Har Brack High School. Lawrence was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved the game of golf.

            Survivors include his sons James D. (Leslie) Bachman, of McLean, VA and John J. (Theresa) Bachman, of Sewickley; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister Audrey J. Chlasta, formerly of Brackenridge. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Marie (Paustenbach) Bachman, his siblings Richard Bachman, Marie Beeghley and Jane Danish.

            Visitation 3-7 PM Thursday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10^th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 where services will be held on Friday at 11 AM with Rev. C. Drew Myers, officiating.
