Lena F. Tanilli

Lena F. Tanilli,89 formerly of Brackenridge,passed away Sunday,May 13,2018 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia,Cabot. She was born May 1,1929 in Arnold to the late John and Ameda (Suatoni) Bordell. She lived her entire life in Brackenridge where she was a homemaker. Lena was a member of Mt. St.Peter Roman Catholic Church,New Kensington and the Umbria Club,Arnold. She graduated from Arnold High School.Lena was a loving and devoted Mother whose world revolved around her family. She will be remembered for her love of cooking,especially at the Holidays. She was a fan of Pittsburgh sports and loved watching and attending the yearly outing to the Pirates baseball game with her son on Mother’s day.

Survivors include her children,Larry A.(Patricia) Tanilli,Myrtle Beach,SC,David M.(Janie) Tanilli,Buffalo Twp., Mark J.(Grace) Tanilli,Natrona Heights, Robert C.(Anne) Tanilli, Gibsonia and Maria Ann Tanilli,Apollo. Also surviving are 5 Grandchildren,1 Great Grandson and a brother Alfred Bordell,Arnold. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leo R. Tanilli in 1996.

Visitation 6-8 PM Tuesday in the Duster Funeral Home,Inc,347 East 10^th AvenueTarentum,Pa.15084 724-224-1526, Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10AM in Mt. St.Peter R.C.Church,New Kensington. Burial in Union Cemetery,Arnold. Family suggests contributions to the National Alzheimer’s Association.
