Leon E. Gohn

Leon E. Gohn, 65, of Buffalo Township, prior Brackenridge, passed away at home, Tuesday, June 16, 2026 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 5, 1960 in Harrison Twp, son of Ruth E. (Debor) Gohn, Ikenberg, of Sarver and the late William M. “Shorty” Gohn. Leon has lived the past 4 years in Buffalo Twp. and prior to that Brackenridge for 15 years. He was a warehouseman for Key Bellevue Industrial Supplies, Allegheny Township. Leon was a reservist in the US Army and of the Presbyterian Faith. He graduated from Highlands High School in 1979 and loved kayaking, fishing, building model cars and his dog Bleu.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Gail (Ament) Gohn, of New Kensington; daughters Candice Gohn and companion Justin Keener, of Brackenridge, Samantha Gohn, of New Kensington and granddaughter Evelyn Keener, of Brackenridge. Also surviving are his siblings, William E. Gohn, of Buffalo twp., Arthur K. (Kim) Gohn, of Saltsburg, Richard A. (Sally) Gohn, Sr., of Kittanning, Albert E. Gohn and companion Heather Laughlin, of Fawn Twp., Dorothy I. (Richard) Orait, of New Kensington and Loretta A. (Chuck) Richey, of Claridge; companion with whom he lived Denise L. Hollobaugh; numerous nieces and nephews as well as a close friend Joe Eckenrod, of Lower Burrell.
