Linda J. Keyser

Linda Keyser, 79, of Verona, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026, at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital after a long battle with Lymphoma. She was born November 8, 1946 to the late John Paul and Ruth (Coudriet) Volzer. Linda grew up in North Hills, graduating from Vincentian Academy. She was a member of St. Susanna Church, Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish, previously a parishioner of St. Gerard Majella for many years. In her free time, Linda traveled with her family, enjoying bicycle riding, canoeing, and camping. Linda vacationed regularly with her husband to Pigeon Forge. She made every trip and adventure. Linda was a member of the Eagles in Verona, PA. She loved to dance and spend her free time with her great-grandson.

Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Bill Ashby Keyser; son, Bruce (Jennifer) Hanus, step-daughters, Jeanne Merola, Debbie DeSavage, Linda Johnson, Donna Szablewski, and Terri McKenzie; grandchildren, Ben (Olivia) Hanus and Sarah (Brady McNally) Hanus; great-grandchild, Kayden McNally; siblings, Edward (Janet) Volzer, Virginia Reese, Thomas (Judy) Volzer, Gloria (Wayne) Gent, Robert (Kimberly) Volzer, Loretta (Eric) Jackson; sister-in-law, Carol Poe; nephew-in-law, Jim (Chris) Poe. Linda is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda is predeceased by her late husband, Eugene Hanus; and her siblings, John (Geri) Volzer, Jr., Almeda Volzer, Ruth Ella (Tom) Finigan.

Visitation Tuesday, August, 11, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Susanna Church, Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish, on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 10 AM. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Burial will be private following.
