Lois Ann Marietti, 93, of Lower Burrell passed away peacefully on Friday ,June 24, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 10, 1929, a daughter of the late Earl W. & Minnie (Etzrodt) Rogers, Sr. She graduated from Harbrack High School in 1947 and married Leon Marietti on , June 10,1951. Lois also graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Interior Design and had a design and custom upholstering business for many years. She put that on hold to care for her Mother when her Father passed away. Lois was a devoted and loving Mother, raised 5 children with Leon, taking wonderful yearly camping and fishing trips.She also adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lois was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church in Lower Burrell. She loved golfing, bowling, playing cards with her friends, having been a member of River Forest Country Club, and Hillcrest Country Club, and various bowling leagues. As a member of the ACBL Bridge Club, she came close to achieving her Life Masters Status. Survivors include: Sons Ronald (Dawn) Marietti, Michael (Mira) Marietti; daughters, Linda Martinec, Denise (Bob) Marietti-Beehner, and Karen (John) Laverty. Grandchildren include: Amber (Kelly) Laux, Amanda (Seth) Lebo, Ashley (Robert) Rutkowski, Autumn ( Xvr ) Woods, Melonie Marietti, Whitney Marietti, Robert Marietti, Sean Beehner, and Kevin (Breanna) Laverty. Great grandchildren include: Ella, Jenni, Aryanna, Joseph, Amos, , Eliza, Reuben, Esther and Sammi; Sisters- in- law Jeannie Rogers, Carol (Ken) Finkelson, Marguerite Mosovsky, Laura Jean Marietti. Also numerous Nieces, Nephews ,and extended family members. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon A. Marietti , an infant daughter in 1952; brothers Earl Jr., Richard, and Kenneth Rogers; sister Emma Mainhart; son-in-law Steve Martinec; and great grandson William Lebo. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 28th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Duster Funeral Home,Inc. 347 East 10th Avenue, Tarentum, Pa 15084 ,724-224-1526 . A Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 AM in St. Margaret Mary Church, Lower Burrell with her Pastor, Rev. Kenneth G. Zaccagnini officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
