Lois M. Walker

Lois M. Walker, 94 formerly of Tarentum, PA, passed away after a brief illness in Westmoreland Hospital on January 22, 2023.

She was born July 6, 1928 in Farrell, PA to the late Alex and Lillian (Vagnone) Guadagno.  Lois lived most of her life in Tarentum.  She was a homemaker, and was employed by Pittsburgh Plate Glass company, Creighton, PA.

She was a member of Holy Martyrs Parish, Tarentum and Catholic Daughters of America, Court Price 849.   She was a member of two card clubs. 

She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1946. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, Nintendo and board games with the grandchildren, baking cookies for holidays, weddings, anniversaries and family occasions.  Lois especially enjoyed her family, children grand children and her great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Robert (Catherine) Walker, of Alpharetta, GA, William B. (Diane) Walker of Irwin, PA, Carla M. (Marshall) Krieman of Malvern, PA, B. Patrick Walker (Roberto) of Milan, Italy, son in law William Kazaros, Tucson, AZ, grandchildren Alexa (Renny) Gilmonch of Miami, FL, Sonya Kazaros of Phoenix, AZ, Ashley (Cmdr. James USN) Kepper, IV of Jacksonville, FL, Jared (Sarah) Walker of Tiger, GA, Nicholas Walker of San Angelo, TX, Bradley Walker of Irwin, PA, Audrey Krieman and Julia Krieman of Phoenixville, PA.

Great grandchildren Alexander Walker of Tiger, GA, Monica, Maria, James V, and Veronica Kepper of Jacksonville, FL, Ozzy and Alia Gilmonch of Miami, FL.

Also surviving are her siblings Joan Santelli of Dover DE, Louis (Judy) Guadagno of New Hamburg, NY.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bernard A. Walker of Tarentum, PA, her daughter Kathryn Kazaros of Tucson, AZ and her daughter Dr. Alexis J. Walker of Corvalis, OR, and her sister Mary Lou Vincolo of Tarentum, PA.

Visitation from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, January 24^th at Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 347 East 10^th Avenue, Tarentum, 724-224-1526.  Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 10:00AM at Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights, PA.
