Loretta S. Michnuk

Loretta S. Michnuk died peacefully at home in her sleep Wednesday night, January 2, 2025 after spending a lovely Christmas with her family in Key Largo just shy of her 94th birthday. 

She was preceded in death by her husband P. Richard Michnuk; her parents, Henry and Anna Stahl; and her much loved sister, Hennie Hohman. She is survived by her daughters, Jody Choder (Steve Choder) and Lisa Dykes (Michael Dykes), and her son, John Michnuk (Kris). Devoted grandmother to Alex and Adam Dykes. She is also survived by her much-loved brother-in-law, Robert J. Hohman; niece, Barb Handley; great niece, Katie Handley Smith and great-nephew, Matt Handley.

 Loretta had a large circle of friends, loved playing cards, doing her daily puzzles, reading, lunching with Audrey, Mary Ann and Carol, and Chardonnay. She was still driving and made a suitcase full of Christmas cookies to take to Key Largo for her family. 

 Look out Heaven! The Snoop Sisters are reunited. 

 Relatives and Friends will be received on Thursday, January 9 from 9:00 am until the time of service at 12:30 PM in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, PA 15084. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Brackenridge. VISIT: dusterfh.com
