Lorraine E. (Hayden) Chandler, 81, of Natrona Heights, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Concordia. She was born January 28, 1936 in Tarentum, to the late Charles and Lena (Munford) Hayden. She lived most of her life in the Natrona Heights and Tarentum area. Lorraine was a homemaker and also a Nurse’s Aide at St. Barnabas, Gibsonia. She was member of the Jehovah Witness, Natrona Heights Congregation and attended Tarentum High School. Lorraine was an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan, enjoyed cooking, baking, bowling and especially enjoyed her family. Survivors include her daughter Selena L. (John) Foster, Brackenridge; grandsons John “Jay” Foster, Jr., Las Vegas, NV and Robert “BJ” (Ozozoma) Foster, Morrisville, NC; Billy and Tony Boone of Indianapolis, IN whom she helped to raise; twin sister Lorrene Hayden, Natrona Heights and sister Mary Wilson, Indianapolis, IN. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Chandler; sister Carson Ann Kemp and brothers Theopolis, Joseph, Lloyd Sr., Stanley, Roland and James Hayden.
