Louise “Weezy” Zetter, 87, of Fawn Township, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at home, surrounded and comforted by her loving family. She was born March 21, 1935 to the late Sam and Rose (Marino) DiCaro. She was a 1953 graduate of Tarentum High School and attended business school in Pittsburgh. Louise met her husband Glenn, through their love of dancing. Glenn was an Arthur Murray dance instructor and Louise was his student. They were married 55 years before he passed in 2015. Louise’s love and flair for fashion led her to open and operate 2 successful clothing stores, Louise’s and Louise’s Two, in Tarentum for over 20 years. Her customers were like family to her. She was an extremely talented, smart, independent woman who was also quite blunt. You knew where you stood with Weezy, if you liked it or not. Louise also loved all Pittsburgh sports teams and drum and bugle corps competitions. She adored her grandsons and was fortunate to enjoy 2 beautiful great-grandsons. Dementia softened her edges and stole too many memories, but Weezy’s spark was still bright until it burned out. We know she’s dancing in the clouds with Glenn now.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Paula Zetter and son-in-law Archie Ehrmentrout, of Fawn Township, whom she resided with over the last 4 years and Linda (Jeffrey) Stiehler, of Springdale; grandsons Brandon (Emilee) Stiehler and Hunter (Kelly) Stiehler, both of Buffalo Twp.; two great grandsons Christian and Brooks, and several nieces. She will also be greatly missed by her faithful dog and companion Lando. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Zetter, and her brother Joseph DiCaro. The family is grateful for the loving care and friendship provided by her long-term caregivers, Terri, Sandy and Sharon, as well as the caring and compassionate angels of Good Samaritan Hospice of Cabot.
