Lucille D. Hoover, 76, of Brackenridge and formerly of Tarentum, passed away at home on Saturday, September 23, 2023. She was born March 23, 1947 in Harrison Township to the late Leonard and Lois J. (Clough) Mason. Lucille lived her entire life in the Tarentum area where she was a Shop Administrator for Weleski Truck Repairs in Tarentum, retiring in 2012 after 35 years. She was a member of the former St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tarentum where she was very involved. Lucille was a 1965 graduate of Tarentum High School. Lucille was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, cooking, aerobics, walking, painting, arts and crafts and her dog Viddie.
Survivors include her step daughter, Donna Jean Keys, step grandson Robert (Julie) Reynolds, and step great grandson John Robert Reynolds, all of Buffalo Township. Nephews Bob Baenig, of Tarentum and David (Rachel) Mason, of Winter Springs, FL. Also surviving are her siblings Jeanne George, of Conway, Janie E. Baenig, with whom she lived and Lawrence (Debra) Mason, of Arnold. And also, Sister-in-law Alvaroe Mason, and great nieces and nephews Kassie Mason, Alyssa Mason and Kipp & Jude Mason. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years George D. Hoover in 2019; and her siblings, Violet Marso and Leonard Mason.
