Margaret (Pracko) Eberhart

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret “Margie” Pracko Eberhart on April 8, 2025, at the age of 83.

Born in Tarentum, PA, Margie was the youngest of 11 children of John and Pauline (Karac) Pracko. She graduated from Tarentum High School in 1961 and later earned her certification as a Surgical Technologist in Pittsburgh. After living in Monroeville, PA, she relocated to West Palm Beach, FL in 1981, where she worked in the operating room assisting surgeons with skill and compassion.

Margie was a creative and joyful presence—she loved drawing, singing, arranging flowers, decorating, and playing cards. She was well known for her delicious home-cooked meals and baked goods, and her family especially cherished holidays and birthdays gathered around her table. She delighted in sharing stories about “the old country” and the saints, and held a special bond with her grandson, Sean. Margie was generous, funny, and fiercely protective of her family, always willing to help those in need.

She is survived by her devoted children: Christine (William) McAlexander of Jupiter, FL; Terry and Charles Eberhart of Monroeville, PA; Carrie Eberhart of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; and Shannon Eberhart of West Palm Beach, FL. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Terry Eberhart Sr., and all ten of her siblings: Aloysios, Bernard, Emil, Edward, Francis, John, Joseph, and Richard Pracko, Marian Detman, and Elizabeth Backo.

Visitation will take place Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the Blessing Service at 10:00AM in the Duster Funeral & Cremation Services,Inc. 347 East 10th Avenue ,Tarentum 724-224-1526. She will be laid to rest with her family at St. Clement Cemetery, Tarentum Visit:dusterfh.com
