Margaret Fair

September 8, 1927 — December 7, 2020

Margaret (Horenzy) Fair, 93, formerly of Springdale passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Quality Life Services, Buffalo Township. She was born September 8, 1927 in Springdale to the late Rudolph and Cecelia (Wolansky) Horenzy. Margaret lived in Springdale most of her life and was married to the love of her life William Fair, Sr. who passed away in 2003. They were married in 1950. She was of the Catholic faith and a graduate of Springdale High School.

            Marge always enjoyed having a good time no matter what the occasion. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, bowling, playing cards and spending time with her family. She had grandchildren sleepovers, made the best crock pickles, stuffing and gravy that you ever tasted. Marge always put everyone around her first, taking care of herself last. Marge in addition to being a busy wife, and mother, she was a caretaker for her parents, worked at PPG, Alcoa and Wally’s pizza. Always giving of herself.

            Survivors include her children Peggy Walker, of Natrona Heights, William (Rose) Fair, Jr., of Buffalo Twp., Mark (Audrey) Fair, of Tarentum, Karen (Joseph) Micklow, of S. Buffalo Twp. and Jeffrey (Alta) Fair, of McKees Rocks; grandchildren David (Sara) McNally, Christian (Kendrick) Trim, Heather (Jarrett) Williams, Jenny (Ryan) Stetz, Amie Sweitzer, Audrey (Kyle) Peterson, Kathryn (Eric) Wright, Jason Micklow, Michelle (Luke) Collins, Stefan Fair, Joseph Fair and Amber Sylanski. Also surviving are her great grandchildren Ryder, Gage, Asher, Kenny, Kameryn, Chloe, Madison, Paislee, Liam, Declan, Colin, Maverick, Josie, Aurora, Gwen and Adalyn. Besides her parents and husband, William she was preceded in death by infant great grandchild Chanse Stetz, son in law Bill Walker, and siblings Valentine and Joseph Horenzy and Ann Fortuna.

            A private family visitation was held for Margaret in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 and burial was private in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. VISIT: dusterfh.com
