Margaret E. Karan

Margaret E. Karan, 93 of Tarentum passed away Sunday, May 26,2024. Born Sept 25,1930 in Carnegie, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Sara M. (Smith) Van Tassell and was preceded in death by her husband George Karan in 1995 and a sister Mary Kaminski.

Margaret was a school crossing guard for Highlands School District for many years, and a member of Millerstown United Methodist Church, Fawn Twp.

Her survivors include a number of nieces and nephews. All services and burial in Greenwood Memorial Park will be private.
