Marie E. Shook, 80, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 in Broward Health Medical Center, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was born April 30, 1941 in Harrison Township to the late Joseph V. Miller and Ester (Juris) Miller, Tisdale. Marie lived the past year in Florida, prior to that Sharpsburg but most of her life in Natrona Heights. She was a waitress at Eat N Park in Natrona Heights and a former member of Guardian Angels Parish, Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum. Marie graduated in 1959 from East Deer High school and enjoyed reading and watching TV shows. She especially enjoyed her family, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children Denise (Shook) Hank, of Blawnox, Daniel Shook and Donald (Heidi) Shook, both of Natrona Heights and Darryl (Lynn) Shook, of Natrona and 9 grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Mary Sue (Daniel) Merli, of Natrona Heights, Margaret “Peggy” Suchanyc, of Garnerville, NY, John (Violet) Miller, of Tarentum, Step Mother Betty Miller, of Brackenridge and a ½ sister Karen McAllister, of Sarver. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson Dylan Hank, brother Joseph Miller and nephew Todd Salser.
Visitation 4-8 Pm Thursday in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in Holy Martyrs Church, Tarentum. Burial will be private. VISIT: dusterfh.com
