Mark A. Anuszek, 55, of Tarentum, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh following a brief illness. He was born June 21, 1969 in Harrison Township to the late Chester R. and Rosemary (Swierczewski) Anuszek. Mark lived his entire life in Tarentum. He worked for Tarentum Borough for 35 years, most recently as Public Works Director. Mark was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights, Tarentum Eagles, Summit Hose Fire Department and a former part time Police officer. He graduated from Highlands High School in 1987 and enjoyed playing cards, travelling and his grand pup Dorito. Mark also enjoyed cooking, especially family recipes.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Michelle A. (Zvolensky) Anuszek; his children Emily R. (Dylan) Vamosi, of Verona and Michael A. Anuszek, of Tarentum. Also surviving are his brothers, Brian Swierczewski, of Lower Burrell and Todd (Kathleen) Anuszek, of Natrona Heights and 11 nieces and nephews.
Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday in Duster Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum. Christian funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Lower Burrell. Summit Hose will hold services Friday at 7PM in the funeral home. Family suggests contributions to Eureka Ambulance or Summit Hose Fire Department of Tarentum. VISIT: dusterfh.com
