Mark A. Grimm, 64, of Cabot, formerly of Buffalo Twp., passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia after being ill the past 4 years. He was born December 19, 1956 to Mary Ann (Daubner) Grimm, of Gibsonia and formerly of Buffalo Township and the late Charles G. “Chuck” Grimm. Prior to living in Cabot, Mark lived 40 years in Welch, WV and 1 year in Bridgeville. He was a Music teacher in McDowell County, WV and retired in 2016. Mark was a member of the Rotary Club of Kimball, WV where he was very involved and was the past President. He graduated in 1975 from Freeport High School, earned his BA in Music education from Grove City College and his Master’s from Marshall University, Huntington, WV. Mark was very involved in his church, and enjoyed video games, music, photography and was a computer enthusiast.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Lori J. (Lou) Popiolkowski, of Puerto Aventuras, Mexico and Jeffrey P. (Vira) Grimm, of Middlesex Twp.; also surviving are his nieces Sarah and Abbey Grimm and a cousin Michael Grimm.
Visitation Sunday from 2 PM until the time of service at 4 Pm in the Duster Funeral Home, Inc. 347 E 10th Ave, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Pastor Adam Salinas, of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
