Mark A. Shaffer

Mark Andrew Shaffer, 69, of New Kensington, passed away at home on Friday, May 29, 2026. He was born February 4, 1957 in New Kensington to the late Harry and Wilda (Martin) Shaffer. Mark was a lifetime resident of New Kensington and worked as a handyman in the contracting industry. He graduated in 1976 from Kiski Area High School and enjoyed working on small engines, plumbing, electrical and collecting model cars and trucks. Mark especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Cyndie (Rogers) Shaffer; daughters Jennifer (Michael) Druga, Amber Burkett, Christina Wolbert and fiancé Keith and Leighann Wolbert. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sister Jean, his dog Samson and friends Ed Burkett “Mooney”.
